The listening ear, is always careful to hear and wary to speak. Words would flow through it day in and day out, sometimes you may wonder where all the information is being stored, or is it being stored at all? People seek not of it's advice, but a mindless debate or better still, a mirror of their thoughts. Wouldn't it be better to just shut it's trap..? Metaphorically, it's merely an emotional dumping ground. A pathetic role, yet so important to those who use it. A slave for a master.

Time and time agn I find myself being the listening ear. I'm probably one of God's perfect model to showcase his creation formula of the human sensory organs, by which 2 unit of information input generates 1 unit of output speech . I'd usually provide the best advice I could or speak none at all. Why bother wasting your breath on something that isn't beneficial; unless (of course) a sick joke. Moreover, what you say reflects what you think, unfiltered garbage thoughts will sewage bullshit/crap. SO then why ain't my friends taking me seriously? Months later when they return for another 'counselling session' for their regrets and mistakes, imagine the frustration when you learn that your advice was being tossed aside and could have made a difference in these miserable lives.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm really helping at all. The art of changing the mind, starts from self-enlightenment. 'IF you can steal an idea, why can't you plant one there instead? The seed that we plant in this man's mind may change everything', as quoted from my fav movie Inception. In society today, what makes a person successful isn't talents or skills, opportunities or gifts, passion or knowledge, but the ability to manipulate and influence people.

Sounds like an obsessed super-villan.
