If a man has talent and cannot use it, he has failed.

If he has talent and uses only half, he has partly failed.

If he has talent and learns somehow to use the whole of it, he has gloriously succeeded,
and won a satisfaction and a triumph few men ever know

-Thomas Wolfe

I've been reading more and more quotation books, and it really got me wondering how smart some people are at crafting their sentences. More often than not, I find myself conversing in an awfully plain and predictable language. I wouldn't say it's unintelligent, it's just plain.. boring.. Gone were the puns and the sarcasm, hidden meanings and flowery vocabulary. Pitiful,

In addition, dramas have constantly fueled such thoughts. Sometimes I wonder when will my interactions be as interesting as the Big Bang theory or Madmen. Just be awed at the superb dialogues! And it's not just about speech-crafting, the content is equally important as well. Recently, there were a couple of engagements with Mr.Wu, Sims and Hee that were pretty thought-provoking. I'm not sure if my brain has gone bland or that I couldn't match their knowledge, sometimes I just lost them altogether and dumbly nod in 'agreement', hoping my eyes wouldn't give me away.

Anyway, whoever is reading this, please pray for me, for I've been clouded by my selfish ambitions. :(
